But scientists and philosophers come and go and theories change opening up new possibilities and hence a grand new definition of reality. But how can we live a real life and chase a ‘Real Goal’ if we dont know who we are, where we came from and where we go ? How to we distinguish the real or permanent – ‘Sat’ as explained in ancient sanskrit from the temporary or non-permanent ‘Asat’ or maya.
